Job summary

NICCO Timber Windows & Doors is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sydney. This permanent full-time role supports our craftspeople in assembling timber doors and windows, operating nail guns and mitre saws, and performing general factory duties.

The ideal candidate holds a forklift licence, experience with hand tools, and a commitment to safety in a timber manufacturing environment. Immediate start available; onsite parking and a collaborative team await.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• Experience using hand tools and basic machinery.
• Experience in factory/manufacturing environment; timber industry is an advantage.
• Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
• Ability to work as part of a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Forklift driving.
• Assist our craftspeople in the assembly of our doors and windows.
• Operate hand and power tools (nail guns, mitre saws, etc).
• Perform general factory duties including occasional assistance with deliveries.
• Assist the Wood Machinist and Joiners.

YOUR ROLE

Permanent Position (Full Time)

• Operate different types of hand and power tools (nail guns, mitre saws, etc)
• Perform general factory duties including occasional assistance with deliveries
• Assistthe Wood Machinist and Joiners

Selection criteria for this position:

• Forklift licence is essential
• Experience in using hand tools and basic machinery
• Previous experience in a factory/manufacturing environment (timber industry is an advantage)
• Maintaining a clean & safe work environment
• Ability to work as a part of a growing team
