Job summary

Urban Lighting Group Pty Ltd – Penrith NSW is seeking a Factory Hand/Welder for our Penrith team on an immediate start basis. This full-time, day-shift role supports the design, fabrication and supply of premium lighting infrastructure in a growing manufacturing facility.

You will weld, operate small machinery and power tools, and assist with assembling, packing and dispatching orders. A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn are valued; forklift experience is preferred but not

• Experience with small machinery and power tools.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Forklift licence preferred, not essential.

Urban Lighting Group is seeking a Factory Hand/Welder to join our Penrith team on an immediate start basis. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity working Monday to Friday day shift. You will be part of a growing team in our manufacturing facility, supporting the design, fabrication and supply of premium pole, column and lighting infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Welding

Operating small machinery and power tools safely

Assembling, packing and preparing orders for dispatch

Loading and unloading deliveries (forklift operation if licensed)

Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised

Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About you

Welding experience (preferred), or a strong willingness to learn

Experience with small machinery and power tools

Attention to detail and pride in quality work

Positive, self-motivated and hard-working attitude

Able to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of safety requirements in a manufacturing environment

Good command of English, both written and spoken
