Job summary

Murrumbidgee Local Health District in Hay is seeking a Facility Nurse Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across nursing services, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care for the Hay community.

You will lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and manage resources and budgets while fostering a positive culture and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with AHPRA/NMBA in good standing.
• Proven leadership and management experience in healthcare.
• Qualifications in health management, policy and planning, business, or willingness to pursue.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing teams, providing strong clinical and professional leadership while developing the capability of staff.
• Drive quality and safety, championing continuous improvement, monitoring standards of care and supporting excellent patient outcomes.
• Shape service delivery by planning, implementing and leading change to ensure nursing services remain responsive and sustainable.
• Manage people and resources effectively, including workforce planning, performance, staffing priorities and nursing service budgets.
• Build strong partnerships with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare providers to support coordinated, high-quality care
