Job summary

Uniting Protestant Association of NSW Limited, a values-driven not-for-profit care organisation, seeks a Facility Manager for Oolong Hostel. You will oversee care quality, regulatory compliance and day-to-day governance of the residential service, while leading a multi-disciplinary team across shifts.

AHPRA registration and willingness to obtain a police check are essential. Experience in aged care management, knowledge of Aged Care Act, and a drive for continuous improvement will help you

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration current and willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
• Commitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards.
• 3–5 years clinical aged care experience.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act and best practice documentation.
• Demonstrated mentoring and supervision of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Oolong Hostel facility within the Riverina Murray Region.
• Ensure high quality care and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Mentor staff and oversee a multi-disciplinary team to deliver services.
• Engage with leadership and corporate teams to support service delivery.

The Opportunity

Oolong Hostel in our Riverina Murray Region (a xx-bed facility), provides exceptional care and services to senior members of the community.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Facility Manager to join our team and manage this successful service. Experience in Aged Care is preferred along with recent management experience.

In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:

• Current AHPRA registration and willingness to obtain a National Police Check
• Commitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards
• 3-5 years clinical experience in aged care
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, best practice documentation
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring & supervising a multi-disciplinary team of staff
• Knowledge of best practice documentation and relevant Commonwealth aged care funding instruments
• A strong passionand commitment in the delivery of Aged Care Services
• A deep empathy and general care for aged care residentsPrevious experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in a related area viewed favourably
