Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager looking to step into Facility Management within a smaller residential aged care facility in regional NSW/VIC. You will lead clinical and operational teams, work with RN staff, and develop budgets, occupancy and workforce planning while ensuring quality care.

This role offers hands-on leadership, mentorship from an experienced team, and a clear path to becoming Facility Manager, with base salary up to 145,000 AUD, free accommodation

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a Clinical Manager, Clinical Care Manager or senior clinical leadership position within residential aged care.
• Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and accreditation requirements.
• An interest in developing your commercial and operational management capabilities.
• A hands-on leadership approach and willingness to work alongside the RN team.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for resident care and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting and developing the clinical and operational team.
• Working alongside the RN team on the floor to gain a thorough understanding of clinical operations and resident care.
• Developing an understanding of budgets, financial performance, occupancy and workforce planning.
• Driving resident-centred care and positive clinical outcomes.
• Supporting compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
• Building strong relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders.
• Developing a positive workplace culture built around accountability, collaboration and quality care.
• Working closely with senior leadership to develop your operational and commercial management capabilities.
