Job summary

Mid-Western Regional Council in Mudgee is seeking a Facility Attendant – Sportsgrounds to help maintain our sportsgrounds and related facilities across the region. The role involves outdoor work across the Glen Willow Regional Sporting Complex and other council sites to ensure safe, welcoming venues for sporting events and community activities.

You will join a hands-on team, performing physical labour, upholding WHS standards and working both independently and with others to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Current Class C driver's licence.
• Safework NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Ability to perform physical labour efficiently to standard.
• Well organised with good time management.
• Good interpersonal skills; able to work in a team and autonomously.
• Sound knowledge of WHS responsibilities and commitment to ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality sportsgrounds and council facilities across the region.
• Ensure spaces are safe, welcoming and well-maintained for events and visitors.
• Work outdoors as part of a team to support community activities.

You

• Licence –Current Class C Driver’s Licence
• Safework NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical labouring tasks and complete efficiently to desired standard
• Well organised with good time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and autonomously; and
• WorkHealth & Safety – Sound knowledge of WHS responsibilities and commitment toongoing training.

The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,487.30 - $2,799.30 gross per fortnight plus superannuation and allowances, which equates to an annual salary of $64,669.80 - $72,781.80 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
