Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join the Mitchelton team. You will maintain buildings, plant and equipment and supervise external contractor repairs across Mitchelton and Enoggera sites, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for residents.

The role offers permanent full-time hours with potential afterhours/on-call work, and a focus on attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• Permanent full-time position with afterhours/on call may be required.
• A trade qualification is preferred.
• Aged or Community care experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, plant and equipment at Mitchelton and Enoggera sites.
• Supervise repairs/installations carried out by external contractors.
• Perform maintenance work and repairs across Mitchelton and Enoggera sites.
• Follow care plans and directives.
• Provide excellent customer service and problem solve.
