Job summary

Funlab Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive Facilities Technician for Strike Bowling and Archie Brothers in Entertainment Quarter, Sydney. You will maintain venue equipment, coordinate with the facilities team, and execute preventative maintenance across all attractions.

You will bring technical/mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously while communicating clearly with your team.

• Must have proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems.

• Mature, collaborative and positive approach to work.
• Ability to work autonomously while communicating effectively with the team.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with Funlab systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment in the venue.
• Coordinate with Venue Manager and Facilities team via email, calendar invites and logs.
• Execute the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for bowling/amusement activities and venue devices.
• Maintain databases and spare parts inventory.
• Uphold workplace safety standards at the venue.
• Collaborate with Area Facilities Manager to coordinate external trades as needed.
• General venue upkeep including painting, basic plumbing and repairs.

What You'll Do:

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue
• Staying in close contact with your Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices
• Maintaining databases and spare parts
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety
• Working with your Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue
• General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it!

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team.

• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude
• Proven technical or mechanical experience
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems
• A willingness to learn and problem solve
• A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work
• An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems
