Job summary

C&K is seeking a Facilities Team Leader to oversee the management of our facilities and assets across Queensland, including Kedron, with 2–3 direct reports. You will drive safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery in early childhood settings.

You will coordinate maintenance, lead contractors, and champion safety and sustainability initiatives to support our children and families across multiple centres.

Qualifications

• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check.
• Completion of National Child Safety Cert.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume maintenance requests across multiple C&K centres and drive efficiency.
• Lead a team and manage contractors to scope, approve and deliver requests on time to a high standard.
• Oversee compliance, safety and sustainability initiatives to keep spaces safe, welcoming and well-maintained for children and families.

The Facilities Team Leader is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of C&K’s facilities and assets across Queensland. With 2–3 direct reports, you will lead a team dedicated to ensuring compliance, safety, and excellence in service delivery.

You’ll help us shape the future of children in our care by:

• Coordinating high-volume maintenance requests across C&K centres, while streamlining processes and driving greater efficiencies.
• Leading a team and managing contractors to ensure all requests are scoped, approved, and delivered on time to the highest standard.
• Overseeing compliance, safety, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring C&K’s spaces remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for children and families.
