Job summary

NBCUniversal in Sydney offers a part-time Facilities Intern role supporting the Facilities Manager ANZ and gaining hands-on experience across office operations, workplace services, events, and safety. You will work on-site three days per week, assist with maintenance tasks, space bookings, inductions, and reception coverage, while developing strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with workplace inspections and identify maintenance or operational issues.
• Liaise with Base Building Management and use the Internal Portal for office maintenance issues.
• Ensure a consistently clean, safe, and fully stocked office environment through proactive daily checks.
• Kitchen and Break Out Room duties.
• Oversee the presentation and readiness of meeting rooms.
• Ensure printers are always full of paper and toners are replaced when necessary.
• Assist as required for all offices located in ANZ region.
• Help manage facilities outlook inbox and coordination of facilities requests.
• Assist with Sydney L33 Hosting space bookings.
• Support with Joiner/Mover/Leaver process including office inductions.
• Cover reception lunch break.
• Ensure notice boards are accurate and maintained across ANZ offices.
• Assist teams and Executive Assistants with catering and event preparation.
• Assist with in-house events.
• Fire warden and/or First Aid duties when required.
• Attend Environment, Health and Safety meetings when required.
• Ad-hoc projects as required
