Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a practical Facilities Manager for the Erskine Park site in Sydney. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and presentation, lead preventative programs, and manage contractor relationships to deliver value and reliability.

You will manage budgets, support capital projects, ensure QA and regulatory compliance, and contribute hands-on when required, supporting multiple sites and stakeholders across operations.

Competenze

• Facilities management experience in industrial environments.
• Preventative and reactive maintenance experience.
• Experience managing contractors, quotations and scopes of work.
• Experience managing facilities expenditure and budgets.
• Strong workplace safety and contractor compliance knowledge.
• Ability to inspect works and ensure standards.
• Experience with maintenance equipment and tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic report-writing capability.
• Current driver’s licence and relevant licences (High Risk/EWP, Working at Heights, Forklift).

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, safety and presentation of the Erskine Park facility.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs; coordinate repairs.
• Inspect workshops, warehouses, yards and buildings to identify maintenance needs.
• Manage annual facilities budget, expenditure, forecasting and future needs.
• Prepare business cases for capital works and asset replacements.
• Source, manage contractors and suppliers; handle quotations, permits and compliance.
• Review contractor scopes to ensure value for money and technical suitability.
• Provide practical technical advice and identify fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve facility reliability, efficiency and costs.
• Lead and develop Reception and Yard & Facilities teams; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Support Liebherr facilities in Yatala, Dandenong, Auckland, Para Hills and Rockingham.
• Maintain QA, HSE and legislative compliance; undertake hands-on maintenance when needed.
