Job summary

Metropolitan Memorial Parks is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Infrastructure and Assets team. This is a hands-on role overseeing facilities, infrastructure and property services across a portfolio of memorial park sites, ensuring safety, compliance and reliability.

You will manage end-to-end maintenance programs, coordinate contractors, monitor performance, and drive asset planning and minor works to support reliable services across our sites in NSW.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in facilities, asset or property management, building and construction, project management, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated facilities or asset management experience.
• Experience managing contractors and service providers.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance.
• Construction White Card.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventative and reactive maintenance across designated sites
• Coordinate contractors and service providers across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire services, cleaning, waste and other facilities services
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and asset management plans
• Manage contractor performance, SLAs, KPIs and compliance requirements
• Project manage minor works, including scopes, cost estimates and procurement
• Undertake site inspections, audits and asset reviews
• Monitor maintenance requests and ensure works are completed effectively and on time
• Manage third-party leases and licence agreements within your portfolio
• Identify opportunities to improve facilities systems, processes and service delivery
• Support the continued development of MMP's broader asset management framework

Job description

Metropolitan Memorial Parks is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Infrastructure and Assets team. This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for managing facilities, infrastructure and property services across a portfolio of memorial park sites.

You'll oversee the end-to-end facilities maintenance program, ensuring buildings, infrastructure and essential services are safe, compliant, well maintained and fit for purpose. Working closely with contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders, you'll manage everything from preventative and reactive maintenance through to minor works, compliance, asset planning and contractor performance.
