Job summary

Woolworths Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our Eastern Suburbs and Northern Sydney stores. This full-time, permanent role includes a Tool of Trade vehicle and routine in-house maintenance across around 50 sites, with travel by road as required.

You will perform building, shopfitting and general maintenance tasks, follow WHS policies, and coordinate end-to-end work orders while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced retail network.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused approach in a multi-site operation.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Experience managing end-to-end completion of work orders.
• Qualified trades certificate or equivalent (desirable) and a valid driver's license.
• Commitment to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-house non-urgent building and shopfitting maintenance at ~50 sites.

What You’ll Do

• As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will carry out in-house non-urgent building and shopfitting maintenance type works logged by our stores.
• Perform general handyperson type maintenance works at approximately 50 different sites across the Woolworths fleet
• Travel frequently to sites by road
• Perform routine checks and audits
• Conduct work practices as per current Work, Health & Safety regulations and with minimum disruption to our customers

What You’ll Bring

• A track record in the provision of maintenance services in a customer oriented environment and in multi-site operation
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
• Experience managing end to end completion of assigned work orders
• Display a high level of customer service, be outcome focused and a team player
• Have a qualified trades certificate or equivalent (desired) and current drivers licence (required)
• Be able to work in a safe manner to meet strict, Health & Safety policies
