SA Health in Mount Pleasant is seeking a Facilities Officer to maintain and improve health unit facilities and grounds, indoors and outdoors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and patients.

You will perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and mechanical tasks, operate forklifts and tractors, and support training and safety compliance. This role offers a path to contribute to continuous improvement in a rural health network.

• Performs general facility upkeep and maintenance indoors and outdoors.
• Cares for gardens, grounds, and related environments.
• Operates machinery such as forklifts and tractors.
• Adheres to WHS requirements and maintains a safe work environment.
• Supports training and guidance of other staff; seeks improvements.
• Participates in continuous improvement and fosters a collaborative team culture.
