Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator for a leading FMCG manufacturing site in Scoresby, VIC. The role oversees facilities, utilities, and maintenance, coordinating contractors to meet GMP and HSE standards.

You will manage work orders and budgets, monitor energy and environmental initiatives, and ensure compliant operations across the site. This is a site-based position supporting continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, site services or maintenance coordination.
• Experience coordinating contractors and external service providers.
• Experience in regulated environments (manufacturing, FMCG, pharma).
• Strong HSE knowledge and risk controls.
• Experience with GMP and quality requirements.
• Proficient in managing work orders, invoices and purchase orders.
• Proficient computer literacy and CMMS or facilities management systems; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities, utilities, infrastructure and maintenance across the site.
• Manage contractors and external service providers, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and address maintenance, safety and environmental issues.
• Manage work orders, repairs and maintenance activities through SAP or relevant systems.
• Ensure contractor compliance with inductions, permits, risk assessments and HSE requirements.
• Manage purchase orders, invoicing and contractor costs within budget.
• Support management of the site services budget and cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor utilities usage and support energy, water and waste reduction projects.
• Ensure GMP, HSE, quality and environmental standards compliance and reporting.

Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join a leading FMCG manufacturing site based in Scoresby, VIC.

This is a site-based role responsible for coordinating facilities, utilities, infrastructure maintenance, contractors, safety, compliance and sustainability initiatives across the manufacturing facility.

The role would suit someone with experience in facilities management, site services, utilities, maintenance coordination or contractor management, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG or other highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities, utilities, infrastructure and maintenance across the manufacturing site.
• Manage contractors and external service providers, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and address maintenance, safety and environmental issues.
• Manage work orders, repairs and maintenance activities through SAP or relevant systems.
• Ensure contractor compliance with inductions, permits, risk assessments and HSE requirements.
• Manage purchase orders, invoicing and contractor costs within budget.
• Support management of the $2.1M site services budget and cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor utilities usage and support energy, water and waste reduction projects.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE, quality and environmental standards, while supporting reporting and continuous improvement.

About You

• Previous experience in site services, facilities, maintenance coordination, utilities or facilities management.
• Experience managing and coordinating contractors and external service providers.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE, contractor management, permits and risk controls.
• Understanding of GMP and quality requirements.
• Experience managing work orders, invoices, purchase orders and contractor documentation.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with maintenance or facilities management systems.
• Experience with SAP would be highly regarded.
