Job summary

Seasons Living in Sinnamon Park is seeking a proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our retirement community on a full-time basis. You will coordinate maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure safety, compliance and smooth day-to-day operations for residents and facilities.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you will maintain records, support residents and staff, and help create a well-maintained environment that supports independence and comfort in our aged care and living spaces.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in an operational hands-on facilities or maintenance role.
  • Current national police check.
  • Competent computer and technology skills.
  • Flexible hours to cover workload or emergencies.
  • Trade qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventative, planned and reactive maintenance across the community.
  • Schedule and oversee trades and contractors to ensure quality work.
  • Manage grounds, waste and resident maintenance requests.
  • Maintain documentation and Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Conduct regular safety and compliance inspections.
  • Support team with effective communication and adherence to policies.

Job description

Seasons isseeking a proactive and hands‑on Facilities Coordinator to join our team at our beautiful Sinnamon Park retirement living community, on a full‑time basis.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering facility maintenance services that ensure our buildings, grounds and essential services are safe, well‑maintained and operating efficiently. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines maintenance coordination, contractor management, compliance monitoring, resident support and grounds oversight, all while helping to create an exceptional living environment for our residents.

You will:
  • Coordinate preventative, planned and reactive maintenance activities across the community to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and well‑presented.
  • Schedule and motivate trades and contractors, ensuring top‑quality work and consistent service delivery.
  • Manage day‑to‑day community upkeep, including grounds care, waste management, and resident maintenance requests.
  • Keep facilities running smoothly by maintaining accurate documentation, essential services plans, and an up‑to‑date Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Conduct regular facility, safety and compliance inspections, ensuring identified issues are addressed promptly.
  • Support the team through confident communication, efficient admin tasks, and strong alignment with organisational policies, safety and compliance guidelines.

You’ll also bring:
