Job description

Facilities and Assets Administrator – Richmind WA

It takes courage to keep things running behind the scenes – and we can’t do it without you.

Are you ready to step into a role where your organisational skills, problem‑solving ability, and team spirit make a real difference every day?

As Facilities and Assets Administrator at Richmind WA, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our sites safe, functional, and welcoming – so our teams can focus on what matters most: supporting people on their mental health recovery journey.

This is a role for someone who enjoys organising information, liasing with others, keeping systems up to date and making sure nothing gets missed.

Why this role matters

Every request you coordinate, every record you update, and every contractor you liaise with helps create calm, functional spaces where people can focus on recovery and wellbeing. You won’t be fixing buildings yourself; instead, you’re the organised, reliable link that helps everything come together.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting our Facilities Manager with the coordination of day‑to‑day site operations across Richmind WA
  • Keeping records and systems organised, including asset registers and maintenance information
  • Communicating with contractors and suppliers, following up on jobs and ensuring work is scheduled and completed
  • Managing systems and data, including MyBuildings and Smart‑Fleet (training provided)
  • Supporting procurement and supplies, helping teams get what they need in a timely way
What you bring

You don’t need to tick every box – what matters most is your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. If you’re a proactive problem‑solver with great communication skills, we can help you grow the rest.

  • Experience in administration, coordination, or office support (formal qualifications welcome but not essential)
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office and an eagerness to pick up new systems
  • Strong time management and a solutions‑focused approach
  • Experience in property or residential services is great, but not essential

Other essentials: National Police Clearance (within 6 months) and a valid Driver’s Licence.

Who are we?

At Richmind WA, we’ve been supporting people on their mental health journeys for over 50 years. We’re recovery‑first, lived experience‑led, and proudly Rainbow Tick accredited. We walk alongside people with compassion, courage, and belief in their potential. Our services are residential, outreach, and everything in between, person‑centred, trauma‑informative, and inclusive at the core.

Our values
  • Living and breathing recovery
  • Being brave and exploring
  • Listening deeply and learning
  • Putting people first
  • Being passionate about inclusion and belonging

We work with Elders and First Nations staff to ensure culturally safe supports and value people of every background, identity, and experience.

Benefits
  • Meaningful work, every single day
  • Salary packaging up to $18,640 (boosts your take‑home pay)
  • Two bonus leave days—your birthday + wellbeing leave
  • Training, mentoring, and access to LinkedIn Learning
  • Four weeks of annual leave (with the option to buy more)
  • Free and confidential Employee Assistance Program
  • Long service leave after 5 years
