Job summary

SOLIDAL is seeking an experienced Façade Technical Specifications Manager to lead architectural engagement and provide façade design support across projects nationwide. You will be the key contact for technical enquiries, translating design intent into practical façade solutions and guiding project teams from early design through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or a related field.
• At least four years' experience in architecture, façade design, engineering or drafting.
• Excellent communication with architects, engineers and contractors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit.
• Knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with architects, engineers and project consultants.
• Lead meetings and product presentations to explain SOLIDAL systems.
• Manage technical enquiries and maintain records of project requirements.
• Provide guidance on product selection, façade applications, finishes, detailing and installation.
• Prepare and coordinate project-specific specifications, technical documentation and product submissions.
• Review architectural plans and identify façade scopes and SOLIDAL solutions.
• Develop façade details aligned with design intent and budgets.
• Identify key stakeholders including architects, engineers, builders and installers.
• Support tender submissions by clarifying product requirements.
• Coordinate internal designers and the production team to meet deadlines.

SOLIDAL is seeking an experienced Façade Technical Specifications Manager to lead architectural engagement, provide façade design support, and manage technical specifications across projects nationwide. This role requires strong communication skills and confidence in working directly with architects, engineers, builders and façade contractors. You will be a key point of contact for technical enquiries, helping project teams understand, select and specify SOLIDAL products from early design through to project delivery. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with the ability to build strong professional relationships, present product solutions clearly, and translate architectural design intent into practical façade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers and project consultants through clear, responsive communication
• Lead meetings and product presentations to explain SOLIDAL systems, discuss design requirements and support product specification
• Manage architectural and technical enquiries, maintaining accurate records of project requirements and follow-up actions
• Provide technical guidance on product selection, façade applications, finishes, detailing and installation requirements
• Prepare and coordinate project-specific specifications, technical documentation and product submissions
• Review architectural plans, specifications and construction drawings to identify relevant façade scopes and suitable SOLIDAL solutions
• Work closely with architects to develop façade details that align with design intent, project budgets and performance requirements
• Identify key project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, builders and installation contractors
• Support tender and pricing submissions by clarifying product requirements and extracting relevant scopes of work
• Coordinate internal designers and the production team to meet project design and documentation deadlines

About you

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or a related field
• A minimum of four years' experience in architecture, façade design, engineering or architectural drafting within the design and construction sector
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage architects, explain technical information clearly and build lasting professional relationships
• Confidence in leading technical discussions, conducting product presentations and responding to design enquiries
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, shop drawings and façade systems
• Knowledge of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit
• Experience coordinating internal design teams and external project stakeholders
