Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Registered Architect/Facade Lead to own complex façade, roof and building envelope packages for large-scale projects in Australia. You will lead the development, coordination and delivery of high-profile facade packages, coordinating with structure, services, waterproofing, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain design intent and ensure buildability.

The role requires strong detailing skills, proficiency in Revit/BIM, and experience with Rhino/Grasshopper.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Australian Architectural Registration preferred, or working towards registration.
• Strong experience across façade, roof and/or building envelope packages.
• Strong technical documentation and detailing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Revit and BIM.
• Experience with Rhino; Grasshopper highly regarded.
• Good understanding of the NCC and Australian façade standards.
• Confident communicating with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead a significant architectural package within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination and delivery of façade and roof packages.
• Develop and review architectural details, drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate façade and roof interfaces with structure, services, waterproofing and other disciplines.
• Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Maintain design intent while ensuring solutions are practical, coordinated and buildable.
• Review consultant and specialist information.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Attend design reviews, workshops and coordination meetings.
• Take ownership of package delivery, quality and project timelines.
