Job summary

CGC Recruitment client is seeking an experienced Façade Drafter with advanced Revit capabilities to join a specialist commercial façade contractor in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.

You will produce detailed drawings, 3D models and construction documentation for façade systems, coordinating with architects, engineers and project teams. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of $90k-$110k + Super, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven drafting experience in commercial façade or architectural cladding.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Strong understanding of façade systems, construction detailing and installation requirements.
• Experience producing detailed shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Contactable referees to verify capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed façade and cladding drawings using Revit.
• Develop accurate 3D models, shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Prepare fabrication and installation drawings for façade systems.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate design details with architects, engineers and project teams.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications, relevant standards and quality requirements.
• Manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
