Job summary

Cladding Creations is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our busy Burleigh Heads team. You will prepare detailed drawings and shop drawings for cladding and façade projects, translating architectural plans into buildable documentation, while collaborating with project managers and fabrication teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or higher in Architectural Drafting, has at least 2 years’ experience, and is proficient with AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD, with strong

• Diploma or higher qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in CAD and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD).
• Sound knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD and other design software.
• Interpreting architectural designs, sketches, and specifications to produce working drawings.
• Assisting with concept designs, layouts, and technical documentation for approvals.
• Ensuring all documentation complies with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and local council regulations.
• Liaising with architects, engineers, builders, and clients to resolve design and documentation issues.
• Conducting site visits to measure, assess, and verify project details when required.
• Contributing to design solutions that improve functionality, safety, and aesthetics.

Cladding Creations Pty Ltd We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftperson to join our growing team in Burleigh Heads. In this role, you will prepare detailed drawings and shop drawings for cladding and façade projects, translating architectural plans and specifications into accurate, buildable documentation.

You will work closely with project managers, estimators, and fabrication and installation teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
