RGIT Australia in Murarrie is looking for a Trade Assistant / Labourer to support fabrication, assembly and packing in a busy workshop. You’ll work closely with tradespeople, operate hand tools, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

You’ll bring a practical mindset, good communication, and reliability to a small team, with opportunities to learn fabrication basics and contribute to timely production outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with workshop safety practices and basic tooling.
• Ability to follow instructions in a small team.
• Reliable and practical problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate workshop hand tools and equipment
• Perform pre-operational inspections and pre-start checks
• Assist tradespeople with fabrication and assembly of products
• Pack finished orders and assist with loading and unloading
• Maintain tidy work areas and conduct minor equipment maintenance
• Perform other duties as required to support production and operational needs
