Chisholm Institute in Victoria invites experienced, student-focused teachers to join the Engineering team as Fabrication instructors. This casual role offers flexible hours and a chance to shape practical learning across the workshop and classroom environments.

You will plan and deliver courses, align materials to standards, support diverse learners, and contribute to program development. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and current industry currency are essential.

Qualifications

• TAE40122 or equivalent meeting Standards for RTOs 2025
• AQF vocational qualifications relevant to teaching level
• Registration with relevant professional bodies for teaching
• Record of Vocational Competency mapped to units used
• Record of Professional Currency in industry and teaching

Responsibilities

• Plan education practices reflecting effective learner engagement
• Ensure teaching materials meet regulatory standards
• Establish a positive learning environment and student responsibility
• Adapt learning and assessment for diverse students and settings
• Coordinate and support teaching programs and admin tasks
