Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton is seeking Casual & Part Time F&B Attendants to join our team in Melbourne’s premier hospitality destination. You will deliver a warm, professional dining experience across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts in a vibrant hotel setting.

Ideal candidates have strong service skills, wine knowledge, RSA, and flexibility for weekdays and weekends. Training and accommodation discounts are among the benefits offered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage service preferred.
• RSA certification and local language fluency required.
• Able to stand for long periods and assist with lifting.
• Flexible to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Availability across Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner shifts, we are looking for colleagues who can provide flexibility across Monday to Friday and weekend shifts.

• Making our guest feel at home, serving great food and drinks with your own personalized and professional service.
• Being attentive and responsive to restaurant and kitchen areas, ensuring efficient and professional service at all times.
• Helping to ensure the restaurant and bar areas are kept clean and well stocked at all times.
• Your friendly and welcoming manner will ensure a great atmosphere and a place where people will feel relaxed and comfortable.

What we need from you

• Have an appreciation and sound knowledge of food and service
• Are courteous and kind with a can-do attitude
• Fitness -you’ll be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling
• Strength -sometimes you’ll need to lift, push or pull
• Literate -you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
• Flexible -night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
• Experienced - with a strong interest in wine, you’ll know how to prepare a wide range of drinks. Ideally with formal bartending training a distinct advantage
• Compliant -as well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you’ll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language, with an RSA
• Articulate -a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
