Job summary

JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant/Bartender to join our Chapter & Verse Bar on a part-time basis. You will deliver friendly, efficient service to our diverse guests and showcase your passion for hospitality.

The successful candidate will have previous F&B experience, RSA certification, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food & beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).
• Has a positive, can-do attitude.
• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
• Barista skills advantageous.
• Beverage knowledge desirable.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided to all guests
• Warmly welcome & serve our guests
• Be an expert on the hotel, know it inside and out to ensure our guests receive a dynamic service experience
• Meet & connect with our guests and give them an experience beyond their expectations
• Assisting all guests with menu, dietary requirements and recommendations
• Ensuring accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery
• Use of POS system
• Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies.
• Ensuring all service areas are immaculate
• Promoting safety and support WHS practices
