Job summary

TKAT (The Kemnal Academies Trust) invites applications for an EYFS Teacher and Leader at Heybridge Primary School in Maldon. The role offers UPS1 to UPS3 and a salary of £47,472 to £51,048 per year, with a permanent, full-time contract in a nurturing early-years environment.

You will lead engaging, play-based learning indoors and outdoors, build strong relationships with children and families, and collaborate with the EYFS Lead to drive high standards of teaching and wellbeing across the setting.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has experience of working in an EYFS setting.
• Has a sound understanding of the EYFS framework, the EYFS curriculum and play-based learning.
• Plans and delivers an inspiring, broad and balanced curriculum, motivating children's learning through experience and interests, indoors and outdoors.
• Develops children's personal, social, language, mathematical and creative skills through stories, songs, games and imaginative play.
• Builds warm, effective relationships with children, and provides pastoral care in a safe, secure environment.
• Adapts teaching to meet pupils' needs and works collaboratively with the EYFS Lead and wider EYFS team.
• Brings high expectations, a positive outlook, flexibility, and a joy for teaching young children.
