Job summary

EY is seeking an External Security Vetting Analyst to support the External Security Vetting Services program, focusing on NV2 matters and other clearances as required. The role involves managing complex cases, interviewing applicants, and analyzing sensitive information to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting) required.
• Experience assessing personnel security clearances, including NV2 matters.
• Current or recently held Negative Vetting Level 2 clearance and ability to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Assess and progress NV2 security clearance cases in line with PSPF and EY standards.
• Conduct structured applicant interviews with clear questions and fairness.
• Analyse sensitive information across employment, finances, conduct, integrity and lifestyle factors.
• Prepare evidence-based case notes and recommendations for reviewers/decision-makers.
• Manage a time-sensitive caseload balancing throughput, quality, risk and service levels.
• Engage with QA feedback and contribute to a high-performing vetting capability.
