The Law Society of New South Wales is seeking a dedicated External Intervention Solicitor - Team Leader in Sydney. You will lead the external interventions team, supervise solicitors and paralegals, and ensure compliance with the Uniform Law while supporting practitioners facing difficulties in managing law practices.

Applicants should have 15+ years of private practice, an unrestricted NSW Practising Certificate, and a deep understanding of NSW regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in NSW with an unrestricted Practising Certificate.
• Extensive experience (15+ years) in private legal practice or law firm leadership.
• Experience leading a team of solicitors or equivalent professionals.
• Strong understanding of the NSW regulatory framework and professional standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the external interventions team and supervise solicitors and paralegals.
• Report to the Deputy Director, Litigation & External Intervention on resources, appointments and efficiencies.
• Prepare reports and advices for the Council and Director, Legal Regulation.
• Provide guidance to legal practitioners and educate on external intervention and Uniform Law provisions.
