Job summary

JM Consulting in Melbourne invites an experienced External Audit Manager to join our growing professional services team. You will take ownership of a portfolio of audit engagements from planning through to completion, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality results.

You will lead and coach junior team members, oversee risk assessments and engagement budgets, and collaborate with partners on complex matters to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• External audit experience in mid-tier or boutique firms preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required.
• Ability to coach and develop junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Managing external audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Overseeing risk assessments, audit testing and technical audit matters.
• Managing engagement timelines, budgets and overall delivery.
• Acting as a key client contact and developing stakeholder relationships.
• Leading and coaching junior team members to ensure quality delivery.
