Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support procurement and contracting activities within OAWG in Canberra. The role focuses on advising staff and administering procurement processes to deliver veteran-focused initiatives.
The successful candidate will engage in governance, screening, and compliance steps while maintaining APS standards and credibility in a public sector environment.
The Senior Project Officer assists in the provision of procurement and contracting advice and assistance to OAWG staff members. OAWG undertakes a significant number of procurement activities to maintain the government commitment to acknowledge and commemorate eligible veterans. The Senior Project Officer manages the administration various procurement related activities.
