Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is offering an Indigenous School-Based Traineeship across Australia. This program lets you learn, earn and gain real-world experience while finishing school, with mentoring and industry-recognised certifications.

As a trainee, you’ll complete a nationally recognised qualification, gain credits toward your senior certificate, and connect with leaders and peers through monthly Yarning Circles. It’s a supportive path to your future, starting in 2027.

Qualifications

  • As a student, you are in Year 11 or 12 and eager to learn while completing your senior certificate.
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to participate in the program.
  • You must be turning 16 in 2027 to be eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Work, learn and earn while finishing school
  • Complete a nationally recognised qualification
  • Receive credits towards HSC, VCE, TCE or equivalent
  • Monthly Yarning Circles to connect with Indigenous employees and trainees
  • Industry-recognised certifications to strengthen your resume

You may be eligible if you:
