Job summary

Menzies Group is seeking reliable cleaners to join its team delivering ongoing cleaning services across UNSW Student Accommodation facilities in Sydney. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming living environment for students, with full training, equipment and ongoing support provided.

We offer casual, part-time and full-time opportunities, mostly Monday to Friday, with a positive emphasis on safety, teamwork and professional service.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in commercial, educational, accommodation environments is desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to follow safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean student accommodation rooms, common areas and shared facilities.
• Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, study spaces and communal living areas.
• Clean offices, administration areas and university amenities.
• Collection, segregation and disposal of waste and recycling materials.
• Sweeping, moping, vacuuming and spot cleaning of internal and external areas.
• Cleaning walkways, entrances and outdoor communal spaces.
• Restocking consumables and maintaining presentation standards.
• Responding to scheduled and ad hoc client requests.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Delivering services in accordance with agreed quality and performance standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Menzies is seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Cleaners to join our team delivering ongoing cleaning services across UNSW Student Accommodation facilities.

In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming living environment for students by providing high quality cleaning services in accordance with client standards, safety requirements and contractual performance expectations. Full training, equipment and ongoing support will be provided.

We have a variety of casual, part-time and full-time opportunities available, with most positions operating Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Cleaning student accommodation rooms, common areas and shared facilities
• Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, study spaces and communal living areas
• Cleaning offices, administration areas and university amenities

About You
