Job summary

Menzies Facility Services is seeking reliable Cleaners to support UNSW Student Accommodation with ongoing cleaning across facilities. You will maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment, following client standards and safety requirements. Full training, equipment and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in commercial, educational or accommodation settings is desirable but not essential.
• All applicants must successfully complete a Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean student accommodation rooms, common areas and shared facilities.
• Perform detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, study spaces and communal living areas.
• Clean offices, administration areas and university amenities.
• Handle waste and recycling material segregation and disposal.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and spot-clean internal and external areas.
• Clean walkways, entrances and outdoor spaces.
• Restock consumables and maintain presentation standards.
• Respond to scheduled and ad hoc client requests.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Deliver services to agreed quality and performance standards.

About The Role

Menzies is seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Cleaners to join our team delivering ongoing cleaning services across UNSW Student Accommodation facilities.

Menzies is seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Cleaners to join our team delivering ongoing cleaning services across UNSW Student Accommodation facilities. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming living environment for students by providing high quality cleaning services in accordance with client standards, safety requirements and contractual performance expectations. Full training, equipment and ongoing support will be provided. We have a variety of casual, part-time and full-time opportunities available, with most positions operating Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning student accommodation rooms, common areas and shared facilities
• Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, study spaces and communal living areas
• Cleaning offices, administration areas and university amenities
• Collection, segregation and disposal of waste and recycling materials
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and spot cleaning of internal and external areas
• Cleaning walkways, entrances and outdoor communal spaces
• Restocking consumables and maintaining presentation standards
• Responding to scheduled and ad hoc client requests
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies
• Delivering services in accordance with agreed quality and performance standards

About You

Previous cleaning experience in commercial, educational, accommodation environments is desirable but not essential.
