Job summary

DP World in Docklands, VIC, is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end export operations across airfreight and seafreight, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time. You will coordinate bookings, documentation, invoicing and reporting while liaising with customers, airlines, shipping lines and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless export service.

The role requires strong data accuracy, proactive issue resolution and a customer-focused approach

Qualifications

• Experience in export operations within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and Australian supply chain.
• Experience coordinating shipments from booking through to departure, incl. transport & documentation.
• Working knowledge of export documentation, customs processes & carrier requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with attention to detail.

DP World is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator to join our Global Freight team, based in Docklands, VIC. In this role, you will manage end-to-end export operations across airfreight and seafreight, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and delivered in line with customer requirements and operational deadlines.

You will work closely with customers, airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, customs brokers and internal stakeholders, while coordinating bookings, shipment processing, transport, documentation, invoicing and reporting to deliver a seamless export service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate bookings, transport, documentation, customs requirements, invoicing and shipment processing
• Liaise with customers, airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, customs brokers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor shipment milestones, cut-off times, deadlines and KPIs, proactively resolving delays and operational issues
• Maintain accurate shipment and customer information across DP World systems and ensure compliance with relevant processes and requirements
• Deliver a high level of customer service while supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in export operations within a freight forwarding environment
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, export processes and the Australian supply chain
• Experience coordinating shipments from booking through to departure, including transport and documentation
• Working knowledge of export documentation, customs processes and carrier requirements
• Strong communication, problem-solving, customer service and stakeholder management skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently, with experience using CargoWise or similar freight forwarding systems highly desirable
