Job summary

Xenith Consulting is seeking Exploration Geologists across multiple levels to join our growing Exploration and Generative Studies team. You will contribute to planning, data collection, drilling, sampling, mapping and interpretation to help deliver clients’ exploration objectives.

From graduates to Supervisors, this role offers a pathway to build field experience, manage field programs and coordinate contractors while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science with a geology major.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Sound geological knowledge and commitment to high-quality work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness for field-based and remote work on rotation.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise exploration programs including drilling and mapping.
• Manage drill rigs and contractors for safe and cost-effective operations.
• Monitor progress, data quality and productivity.
• Collect, validate and interpret geological, geochemical and drilling data.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly exploration reports.
• Coordinate sampling programs (RC, diamond core, soil, rock chip).
• Supervise contractors to deliver exploration programs safely.
• Ensure compliance with environmental approvals and statutory obligations.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
