Job summary

TWG Loxton, the Australian operation of The Wine Group, is seeking enthusiastic Vintage Cellar Hands for a 10–12 week seasonal role starting mid-January 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in a renowned winery, handling grape receival, crushing, blending and wine transfers while operating essential equipment.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, enjoy outdoor work, and can work a rotating 3-shift roster.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors and at heights.
• Motivated, eager to learn, and a good team player.
• Willing to work rotating 3-shift roster; licences such as Forklift/HR/MR would be advantageous.
• Full working rights; visa holders welcome.

TWG Loxton, the Australian operation of The Wine Group—one of the world’s largest wine companies is located along the scenic River Murray. Our winery is a highly regarded production facility focused on producing and exporting wine globally.

With the 2027 Vintage season fast approaching, we’re looking for enthusiastic and hardworking- experienced Vintage Cellar Hands to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wine industry, whether you’re new to the field or looking to build on existing skills.

Key Details:

• Location: Loxton, Riverland
• Start Date: Mid-January 2027
• Duration: 10-12 weeks (seasonal role)

What You’ll Do:

• Grape receival, crushing, racking, blending and wine transfers
• Operating key winery equipment
• General cellar housekeeping duties

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically fitand comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Motivatedwith a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Team playerwho can also work independently
• Shift-based availabilityacross a rotating 3-shift roster (additional hours may be required)
• All licences- Drivers, Forklift, HR/MR licence (would be amazing)

This position requires 6 months or more, working in a winery cellar

Essential Requirements:

• Full working rights (Visa holders welcome; valid until end of April 2027)
• Ability to follow instructions from Leading Hands and Supervisors
• Adherence to Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and completion of all documentation accurately
