Job summary

V/Line is seeking an experienced, qualified Train Driver to operate rostered services between Albury and Seymour. Based in Albury/Wodonga, you will handle trains with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service, joining a safety-focused, professional team.

Applicants must meet three mandatory requirements and be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends and public holidays. This role is not entry-level and requires current qualifications.

Qualifications

• ARTC TA20 Rules & Procedures qualified.
• Current Train Driver holding a Certificate IV in Train Driving.
• Standard Gauge qualified between Albury and Seymour.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate rail vehicles per procedures and timetable.
• Maintain safety, reliability and operational performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe and efficient running of trains.
• Complete required driver training and associated modules.
• Care for property and equipment used in duties.
• Work as part of a safety-focused operational team.
