Job summary

G&G Group is an ACT-based construction company specializing in traffic control services, labour hire, and concrete works. We are seeking experienced all-rounders with traffic control experience to join our team and support multiple ACT sites.

The role requires a White Card (CPCWHS1001), Traffic Controller (TCR), and the ability to implement work zone traffic plans. Expect a casual role with potential for full-time employment for reliable, punctual workers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years traffic control experience.
• White Card CPCWHS1001 required.
• Ability to work autonomously or with limited direction.
• Reliable and punctual and committed to doing a good job.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic in accordance with a work zone traffic management plan.
• Implement a work zone traffic management plan in the workplace vicinity.
• Work across ACT sites, requiring reliable transport to multiple locations.

We are highly professional and provide great working conditions for all of our employees.Currently we are looking for experienced all rounders with Traffic Control experience.

If you are looking for a traffic controller role then G&G Group are interested people with the following skills and tickets:

• CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
• Traffic controller (TCR) – direct traffic in accordance with a work zone traffic management plan
• Implement traffic control plans (IMP) – implement a work zone traffic management plan in the immediate vicinity of a workplace
• Minimum 3 years traffic control experience
• The ability to work autonomously or with limited direction
• Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to solve everyday problems
• Reliable
• Always turning up to work on time and is committed to doing a good job

In addition the following would be highly regarded, but not mandatory:

• Prepare a work zone traffic management plan (PWZ) – design (including vary) or inspect a work zone traffic management plan - This qualification is desirable but not mandatory
• Additional tickets and qualifications are highly regarded
