Griffith Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Sonographer to provide a high-quality medical imaging service across obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, MSK, paediatrics and interventional procedures. The role includes after-hours on-call duties and responsibilities for patient safety and accurate RIS/PACS documentation.

The candidate should hold ASAR accreditation, have broad independent examination experience and a NSW Class C Driver's Licence with willingness to travel to peripheral hospitals.

Formación

• Hold current ASAR accreditation.
• Demonstrate experience performing independent sonographic examinations across obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, MSK, paediatrics and interventional procedures.
• Hold NSW Class C Driver's Licence and be willing to travel to peripheral hospitals.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide range of medical imaging and sonographic examinations, including obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, MSK, paediatrics and interventional procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in RIS/PACS.
• Participate in 24/7 roster and on-call arrangements for after-hours cover.
• Support training and supervision of undergraduate and new graduate sonographers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and reporting radiologists.
• Maintain current ASAR accreditation and engage in ongoing professional development.
