Imaging Associates seeks an experienced Sonographer to deliver high-quality ultrasound services at Wonthaggi Hospital. You will manage a varied caseload across abdominal, gynecologic, vascular and MSK imaging, working with radiologists, technicians and clinical staff to ensure compassionate patient care.

The role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time options, while supporting your growth within a supportive, country‑lifestyle setting.

Qualifications

• Competency in ultrasound within a busy medical imaging department.
• Experience across a range of ultrasound services.
• Hold a recognised Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound qualification.
• ASAR accreditation status preferred.
• Full work rights in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, gynaecologic, small parts, vascular and MSK imaging.
• Work collaboratively with Radiologists, technicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality imaging.

Imaging Associates (IA) is a doctor‑led, highly respected and rapidly growing radiology business with practices across the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga. IA prides itself on providing cutting edge diagnostic imaging services with a focus on clinical excellence and exceptional patient care.

Wonthaggi Hospital services the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shire communities and offers a range of services, including Pathology, Acute Ward, Radiology, Theatre and Maternity. The Imaging Associates team is excited by the opportunity to provide radiology services to the community in this region and seek to engage a highly qualified and dedicated radiography team providing a range of high‑quality imaging services.

We are looking for an experienced Sonographer to provide a wide range of ultrasound services at Wonthaggi Hospital, including general abdominal, gynaecologic, small parts, vascular and MSK imaging. You will manage a varied caseload, providing high quality sonographic examinations to a broad patient mix ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety in line with established practice, policies, and procedures.

What experience do I have?

• Competency in Ultrasound working within a busy Medical Imaging department
• Proven experience across a range of ultrasound services
• A patient‑focused approach and commitment to quality outcomes
• Ability to drive projects and work independently in a busy hospital setting
• ASAR accredited
• Hold a recognised qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
• Have availability to work across a Monday â Saturday (AM only) roster
• Full work rights in Australia
