Job summary

Insight Protection Solutions is seeking an experienced Security Technician to install, fault-find and commission CCTV, access control and alarm systems across regional Victoria and southern NSW. You’ll contribute to project installations on varied commercial and government sites, delivering reliable security solutions with strong customer focus.

Qualifications

Insight Protection Solutions is looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our team in Shepparton.

We're not looking for someone to make up the numbers. We want a genuinely good technician who knows the industry, takes pride in their work and can be trusted to get the job done properly.

What you'll be doing

You'll work across a wide range of commercial, government and larger security projects throughout regional Victoria and southern NSW, including:

• CCTV and IP video systems
• Access control
• Intruder alarms
• Intercoms
• Networking and wireless links
• Fault finding, servicing and commissioning
• System upgrades and larger project installations

We work with quality equipment and increasingly sophisticated systems. This isn't a role where you'll spend every day fitting the same alarm panel into the same type of building.

Who we're looking for

Ideally, you're already an experienced electronic security technician.

You'll be able to install, fault-find and commission security systems without needing someone looking over your shoulder all day.

Experience across CCTV, alarms and access control is important. Experience with systems such as Inner Range Integriti, ICT Protege, Bosch, Ajax, Hanwha, Dahua, NX Witness or similar platforms would be highly regarded, but we don't expect anyone to know everything.

More importantly, you need to be technically capable, reliable, organised and good with customers.

You'll need the appropriate Victorian security licence and cabling registration, along with a current driver's licence.
