JML Trades in Canberra is seeking an experienced Roofer and Roof Plumber to join our local team. This hands-on role covers residential and commercial roofing with a fully maintained take-home vehicle and performance bonuses to maximise earnings.

Earn between $125,000 and $200,000+ per year, plus an hourly option of $45–$65 based on experience and sales capability. You’ll work from pre-booked schedules, completing roof restorations, repairs, gutter work, flashings and inspections while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing or roof plumbing across residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to quote and recommend works to customers.
• Current White Card and Working at Heights certification.
• Australian Driver’s Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform roof restorations, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect roofs and identify defects; provide practical solutions.
• Gutter and downpipe replacement, flashings and metal roofing.
• Prepare quotations for recommended works and ensure quality workmanship.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on safety and reliability.

JML Trades is growing, and we're looking for experienced Roofers and Roof Plumbers to join our Canberra team.

This is a hands-on role working across residential and commercial roofing projects & repairs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with customers and enjoys solving problems and providing preventative maintenance solutions.

You’ll never be expected to cold-call customers or generate your own leads. Our office team keeps your schedule full so you can focus on delivering quality roofing solutions.

$45 to $65 per hour, based on experience and sales capabilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day brings something different, including:

• Roof restorations
• Roof repairs and leak investigations
• Roof replacements
• Gutter and down pipe replacement
• Flashings and metal roofing
• Storm damage and insurance repairs
• Residential and commercial maintenance
• Roof inspections and condition reports
• Providing customers with practical roofing solutions
• Preparing quotations for recommended works
• Delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service

What We’re Looking For

You will have:

• Roofing or Roof Plumbing experience
• Previous track record for in providing quotes and recommendations
• Current White Card
• Working at Heights Certification
• Australian Driver’s Licence
• Strong communication skills
• Pride in your workmanship
• The ability to inspect roofs, identify defects and recommend practical solutions
• Confidence preparing quotations
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Experience with roofing restoration and maintenance is a must.
