Job summary

Clark Rubber Hervey Bay is seeking an experienced Pool Technician to join our team and support our mobile pool servicing and maintenance operations across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the Fraser Coast region.

You will service residential and commercial pools, test water, balance chemicals, inspect and repair pumps and robotic cleaners, and provide professional advice to customers. A company vehicle is provided for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pool Technician.
• Strong knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily schedule.
• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Pool Technician with some retail experience looking for a great opportunity with a growing business?

Clark Rubber Hervey Bay is looking for an experienced and motivated Pool Technician to join our team and help grow our mobile pool servicing and maintenance business across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the surrounding Fraser Coast region.

We are looking for someone who knows pools, understands customers and takes pride in doing a great job helping Clark Rubber to become the No.1 name in Pools in Fraser Coast.

THE ROLE

As our Pool Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional pool maintenance and servicing to residential and commercial customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Regular pool servicing and maintenance
• Water testing and chemical balancing
• Pool cleaning and equipment checks
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting pool equipment
• Installation and servicing of pumps, filters, chlorinators and robotic cleaners
• Identifying equipment faults and recommending solutions
• Providing professional advice to customers
• Maintaining accurate service records
• Building strong ongoing relationships with customers
• Promoting additional products and services where appropriate
• Keeping your service vehicle, equipment and work areas clean and organised
• Work in store when or as required

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience as a Pool Technician
• Has strong knowledge of pool equipment, chemicals and water chemistry
• Can diagnose and solve pool problems confidently
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is reliable, punctual and well presented
• Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
• Is confident dealing directly with customers
• Can work independently and manage their own daily schedule
• Has good communication and problem-solving skills
• Holds a current Australian driver's licence
• Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

Experience with pool equipment repairs, robotic pool cleaners, pumps, filters and chlorination systems will be highly regarded along with retail sales experience.
