Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services – Canberra ACT is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our Software Engineering practice for a Federal Government transformation project. You will be deployed with the client and contribute across the SDLC with C#, .NET and Azure DevOps.

You must hold an active NV1 security clearance and bring strong skills in web API, SQL backend development, and automated build/deploy scripting. Excellent communication is essential for collaborating with dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Active NV1 security clearance required prior to commencement.
• Experience with C#, web API and SQL backend development.
• Cloud-based applications development experience with Azure DevOps.
• Ability to write well-designed, documented, and testable code and partake in peer reviews.
• Strong communication skills to manage geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the SDLC to develop and enhance C# based, n-tier enterprise software.
• Develop automated application build and deployment scripts using .NET technologies.
• Utilise Agile Methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps for software development.
• Liaise with technical and business staff to rapidly resolve production faults.
• Provide analysis on complex issues to contribute to project management and policy.
• Make decisions governed by legislation, regulations, and best practice principles.
• Foster internal and external relationships while anticipating stakeholder needs.
