Job summary

Talent in Sydney is seeking a Junior .NET Developer to join a large-scale technology environment supporting a Federal Government client. You will own complex development work in a hands-on role, focusing on C#/.NET Core, Azure, APIs and microservices.

The role requires 3+ years of C#/.NET experience, strong Azure capabilities, and secure API practices. Expect on-site work three days per week in Sydney CBD with an NV1 security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of C# and .NET/.NET Core experience.
• Strong hands-on Azure development experience.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Solid SQL/database knowledge.
• Knowledge of OAuth/JWT and secure API development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
• Build and enhance microservices and REST APIs
• Develop cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure
• Work with Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Storage and Azure SQL
• Optimise application performance, reliability and database queries
• Apply secure development practices across applications, APIs and data
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to solution design and technical decisions
