Mai Medical Specialists GP Clinic is seeking an efficient medical receptionist to support patients and healthcare providers at a growing Footscray clinic. You will manage appointments, registrations, and billing for Medicare, Work Cover/TAC and private patients, as well as scanning records and maintaining privacy.

Collaboration with GPs, specialists, and pathology teams is required, along with keeping the clinic organized and well-presented.

Qualifikationen

• Medical reception experience with Best Practice is preferred.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy.

• Manage appointments and patient registrations.

Mai Medical Specialists GP Clinic – Footscray VIC

You will be responsible for providing efficient and welcoming front desk support to patients and healthcare providers at a growing GP and Specialist medical clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Managing appointments and patient registration via phone, emails and online websites
• Medicare, Work Cover/TAC and private patients billing and processing payments
• Scanning, correspondence and management of patient records and privacy
• Liaising with GPs, specialists, pathology and other healthcare providers
• Maintaining clinic presentation and cleanliness
• Monitoring clinic stock levels and arranging/replenishing supplies as required
• Assisting with routine opening and closing duties
• Working collaboratively, providing thorough handover and following/completing clinic SOPs checklists

About you

• Previous medical reception experience, particularly with Best Practice Software
• Strong computer and general IT skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Follows established procedures and SOPs consistently
• Proactive and comfortable helping with the practical day-to-day needs of the clinic
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment
• Friendly, supportive and professional working environment
