Job summary

Motion Wittenbaker Engineering Services is seeking a skilled Machine Tool Fitter to maintain CNC and manual machining equipment, ensuring performance, reliability and safety in a fast-paced workshop.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC and in-situ tools, alignments, calibrations, and machine components, working with operators and workshop managers to minimise downtime and keep records.

Qualifications

• Experience as Machine Tool Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance Technician in CNC/manual machining.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and service documentation.
• Trade qualifications in fitting, machining or mechanical maintenance are valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on CNC and manual machine tools.
• Perform machine alignments, calibrations and adjustments to engineering specs.
• Maintain accuracy and keep maintenance records and safety compliance.
• Support installation and commissioning of new or rebuilt machines as required.
