Job summary

VivCourt is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the Sydney-based IT Operations Team. You will own maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our low-latency, high-performance infrastructure used across global markets.

• Network Operations & HA: Maintain highly available routing and multicast environments across colocation and on-prem connectivity.
• Security & Resilience: Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical financial infrastructure.
• Planning & Coordination: Lead maintenance windows and operational upgrades with exchanges and providers under time-sensitive conditions.
• Automation: Improve configuration management, observability, and tooling (Ansible, Zabbix, Python).

Join our IT Operations Team

As a key part of our IT Operations team, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our high-performance, low-latency infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the resilience and security of systems located at global exchanges, running on enterprise bare-metal hardware, FPGA-accelerated components, and low-latency network architectures. You'll work directly on infrastructure where nanosecond-level latency decisions have real financial consequences.

• Network Operations & HA: Maintain highly available routing and multicast environments using BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP, with hands-on experience across colocation and on-prem switching and connectivity.
• Security & Resilience: Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical financial infrastructure, with direct input into risk and architecture decisions.
• Planning & Coordination: Lead maintenance windows and operational upgrades, coordinating across internal teams and external exchanges and colocation providers under time-sensitive conditions.
• Automation: Improve our configuration management, observability, and operational tooling (Ansible, Zabbix, Python).
