Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or diploma in a technical field (Comp Eng, Electrical Eng, CS or related).
• Interest in hardware, home networks or hands-on tinkering demonstrates aptitude.
• Curious, asks questions, reads and experiments to understand systems.
• Collaborates well in a driven team and wants to learn infrastructure usage.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors.
• Maintain high-availability routing and multicast environments across colo and on-prem networks.
• Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery for critical financial infra.
• Coordinate maintenance windows with internal teams and exchanges under tight timelines.
• Enhance configuration management, observability, and tooling with Ansible, Zabbix, and Python.

Join our IT Operations Team

As a key part of our IT Operations team, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our high-performance, low-latency infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the resilience and security of systems colocated at global exchanges, running on enterprise bare-metal hardware, FPGA-accelerated components, and low-latency network architectures. You'll work directly on infrastructure where nanosecond-level latency decisions have real financial consequences.
We will help you get up to speed and excel in this role through internal and external training, and practical, on-the-job guidance from experienced colleagues.

Who You Are

• A recent graduate, or up to 2 years' relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• You have naturally gravitated towards this space growing up; having pulled apart computer hardware, and built your own home networks just because it's fun.
• You seek to understand how things work and why. You ask questions, read up, experiment and investigate to satisfy your curiosity.
• You want to learn how the infrastructure you look after is used and helps the company succeed.
• You enjoy collaborating and being part of a driven team.

What You Will Do

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL): Support, tune, and optimize RHEL systems running on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors for low-latency, high-performance execution.
• Network Operations & HA: Maintain highly available routing and multicast environments using BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP, with hands-on experience across colocation and on-prem switching and connectivity.
• Security & Resilience : Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical financial infrastructure, with direct input into risk and architecture decisions.
• Planning & Coordination: Lead maintenance windows and operational upgrades, coordinating across internal teams and external exchanges and colocation providers under time-sensitive conditions.
• Automation: Improve our configuration management, observability, and operational tooling (Ansible, Zabbix, Python).
