Job summary

RCR Mining Technologies is seeking experienced Boilermaker Welders to join the Welshpool Workshop for an immediate start. You will perform welding and fabrication for mining equipment while adhering to Australian standards and client specifications.

The role offers day and afternoon shifts, casual and full-time positions, with overtime opportunities. Join a progressive team focused on safety and high-quality workmanship, and contribute to the efficiency of mining operations.

Qualifications

• Live locally in the Perth metro area.
• Able to pass 3G/4G weld test.
• Dogging/Rigging experience is preferred but not essential.
• Forklift Ticket is preferred but not essential.
• Willing to complete pre-employment medical.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel, mechanical equipment, and piping packages to Australian Standards and client specifications.
• Prepare all steel work for welding to best practices.
• Operate and maintain workshop equipment within your skill set.
• Review drawings and instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Maintain inventory of completed products.
• Keep machines and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Perform additional tasks within your skill and competence level.

We have an exciting opportunity for BoilermakerWelders at RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unitwithin NRW Holdings.

These positions require excellent welding and fabricationskills, as well as a strong understanding of boiler makingtechniques. The Boilermaker Welders must consistently providehigh-quality welding and fabrication services to support theconstruction, repair, and maintenance of mining technologies. Withyour expertise, you will contribute to the success of the team andhelp ensure the safety and efficiency of mining operations.

We have Day and Afternoon Shifts available,with Casual and Full-Time positions onoffer. Day shift is 6am - 2.30pm with overtime available asrequired. Afternoon Shift is 3.30pm - 1.30am Monday toThursday, with overtime available until 4.00am, Friday 2.30pm to11.00pm (optional)

In this role you will be responsiblefor

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel, mechanicalequipment, and piping packages in an efficient andcompetent manner to the relevant Australian Standards andclient specifications.
• Prepares all steel work for welding to bestpractices
• Operates and maintains all workshop equipment withinyour skill set
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samplesto ensure accurate production
• Maintain inventory of completed products
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained ina clean and tidy condition and that no items are leftloose
• Perform any additional tasks as directed which arewithin your skill, qualification, and competence level.

To be considered for this position, you will needto

• Have relevant experience that are able to pass 3G/4Gweld test
• Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential)
• Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
• Willing to complete Pre employment Medical
• Have a solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine,reliable nature.
